Artist Bio
After studying at the Artist Students League and the Ruskin Museum School in Oxford, England, I have painted and shown professionally for many years. I've shown work primarily in New York City, New Jersey, upstate New York and Massachusetts.
My work has progressed through realism to abstraction, and currently focuses on the grid as the organizing principle. Within the grid there may be images or just pure color. I also continue to paint landscapes and to do assemblage in the form of boxes which hang on the wall. My abstract pieces are done in encaustic, a hot wax medium which lends itself to luminosity and depth.
