I'm a late bloomer. After many years on a desk job I decided it was time to take up my two passions -art and gardening. As a garden designer I work from Spring to Fall using the earth as my canvas and from Winter to Spring I use my brush to paint landscapes and gardens.
I've had three sweet homes in my life -Sweet Home Alabama where I was born and grew up on a farm, Sweet Home Chicago where I lived and worked for most of my adult life and now, by choice, Sweet Home Carolina where my GGG Irish Grandmother was born in the 1700's .
During my 7 years here in Carrboro-Chapel Hill I have been busy creating my own half-acre landscape and exploring the great Artist community here.
I am so honored to become a member of the Orange County Artist Guild and look forward to all the benefits and rewards it offers
